I have been craving authentic korean for a while now and after a massive disappointment from another local korean restaurant, tried this in hopes my craving would be satisfied. And boy was it! It's small but homey, and the food is delicious. All the sauces and dishes were made from scratch and then even have some desserts as well. Im thoroughly impressed, and they met the expectations of my standard of korean food. I would definitely recommend and come back
My only regret is not coming here sooner. The food was delicious! The hostest was friendly and helpful with food recommendations. We plan to come here everytime we eat out so we can try everything on the menu. We ordered the fried dumplings, the Dak Bokkeum Tang, Budae Jjiae. Everything came out piping hot and bursting with flavor. We also took home one chocolate and one carrot cake from the glass case on our way out. They were possibly the most moist cakes I've ever had. We are really glad we decided to come here. I wish the owners continued success in their business.
The owner was kind and the staff was friendly. When we went to eat here, I had beef bulgogi and my husband had bibimbap. It was really delicious! We come here when we crave Korean dishes and we always enjoy their food. It’s one of our favorite places to go in Crestview!
I got takeout. I ordered the beef bulgogi. It comes with pickled vegetables and steamed rice. It was really yummy. I had soy sauce at home that I added to the white rice. The place was really cute inside, but since I got takeout, I did not eat inside. On a Friday night it was really empty. The two employees that I saw were teenagers and they seemed really nice and positive. They also sell cakes by the slice here. They had three different cakes in a bakery display cooler and they looked very pretty. I enjoyed the meal and I would pick up from here again. They give you a good portion!
Heard about this place from a few friends, the vibe was great, water was filtered, it's insanely hard to find places that don't just serve you nasty tap water, already a 10 in my book, food was phenomenal, good portions, last but not least the yogurt milk tea was probably one of the best things I've ever tasted in my life on god, it tasted kinda like yogurt mixed with milkies, too bad they ran out of tapioca, so I had to settle with mango jelly, cant imagine how good it'd be made into an actual boba.
We have gone here several times and the services is always wonderful. It is nice when you walk in a place and they remember your family. Their food is always in large portions and very delicious. I would recommend everyone to try this place out.
I don't want to leave a review here for the purely selfish reasons. As much as i want to selfishly not spread the word the owner deseves every bit of praise. I had taken a friend here who is a bit of a curry fiend and to my "so after this whats the best curry in town?" He says "There's other curry?" Everything we have tried so far is delicious. They're generous (but not buffet style) with portions and the general experience is just comfortable. If you like Korean food or just want to expand your horizons Hot Kimchi is the place to do so.
Absolutely amazing food. Everything I had was an absolutely blast of flavor. The food was so good I was easily able to tune out a crying baby inside at the time. The waitress was very kind, and suggested a very delicious dessert. Portions are all perfectly sized. Absolutely worth your time. Comfortably expect $20 per adult, and kids have a cheaper menu option.
